Hurtigruten Norway

Hurtigruten's ships have for generations been an important part of the Norwegian coast with daily departures from Bergen. It all started in 1893 when Richard With received a licence for the first route between Trondheim and Hammerfest. Already in 1898 Bergen became the southernmost harbour and in 1908 the route was extended to Kirkenes in the north. Bergen was the southernmost harbour and in 1908 the route was extended to Kirkenes in the north.

A voyage with Hurtigruten along Norway's beautiful coast has rightly been named "The World's Most Beautiful Sea Voyage".

You can choose between full and half round trips, or a shorter trip between selected ports. Experience the summer with sun 24 hours a day, or maybe you prefer the polar night in the north when the northern lights sweep across a cold, starry sky. If you have experienced the journey along the Norwegian coast, it may be Greenland or Antarctica that is next in line. Or how about Spitsbergen? In Greenland you will find the world's most dramatic nature and if you travel with us you will get close to the people and nature. Antarctica is a majestic kingdom. The highest, coldest, driest and cleanest continent in the world. Here you get to go ashore where few people before have set foot.

Spitsbergen is the gateway to the Arctic. The landscape is shaped by ice and wind, sea and snow. This is the kingdom of the polar bear. If you want to experience Longyearbyen, Barentsburg or Ny-Ålesund, this is the tour for you. Whatever your wishes may be, we have something for you.
